Everybody loves a parade and there's lots to love about the Georgia Peach Festival Parade. It rolls off on the first Saturday morning of the festival in downtown Fort Valley and has entertained festival-goers with everything from Miss America to the Shriners and their "death-defying" go-kart acts to beauty queens to professional wrestlers.

The Festival welcomes marching units, floats, trucks, classic cars and bands. There is no entry fee. Organizers ask that all units be tastefully decorated and adhere to the theme f the festival.

The parade departs from Fort Valley Youth Center of Excellence parking lot at 500 Riley Ave. and  proceeds east on Riley then south on Miller, left on Central, left on North Camellia Blvd., west on Persons, right north on Miller, left west on Riley ending at the youth center.
